El desarrollo del lenguaje receptivo aborda la capacidad de discriminar y asociar sonidos de forma correcta y funcional. Pueden ser sonidos vocálicos, palabras o expresiones complejas entre otros.
Para trabajar la identificación y comprensión, en este caso y aprender las partes del cuerpo en niños, tenemos varias actividades que proponerte.

Actividad 1
Para esta actividad utilizaremos las tarjetas de las partes del cuerpo que encontrarás a continuación, puedes descargar la plantilla para recortar y plastificar tus propias tarjetas.
Después de imprimir, recortar y plastificar las tarjetas, tendremos listo el material necesario para esta actividad.
En función de la capacidad cognitiva de cada persona, situaremos más o menos imágenes delante de él. El ejercicio consiste en ir pidiéndole una a una cada imagen. En niños muy pequeños podemos comenzar ofreciendo dos tarjetas, a medida que avancen en respuestas correctas iremos aumentando el número de opciones.
Cuando el niño/a se equivoque, en lugar de decir verbalmente expresiones como “no”, “esa no es correcta”, “te has equivocado”… simplemente señalaremos la imagen correcta. De este modo no emitimos ningún “input” que pueda dar lugar a confusión y reforzamos la identificación de la respuesta correcta. Si no coge la imagen fácilmente, podemos hacer el gesto de dame o darle apoyo físico cuando sea necesario. Es importante no abusar de los apoyos físicos, que sabemos que se acostumbran fácilmente 😉
Registraremos de forma recurrente los conceptos que conoce así como los apoyos o ayuda que necesita. De este modo podremos ver una progresión fácilmente e identificar aquellos conceptos que presentan una mayor dificultad. Podemos complementarlo haciendo que el niño vaya colocando las tarjetas correctas en un contenedor o caja. En definitiva, una actividad fantástica para aprender las partes del cuerpo.

Actividad 2
Otra actividad que podemos realizar con la plantilla anterior en formato variante, es utilizar fichas verdes y rojas en un juego tipo “Bingo” . Utilizaremos la plantilla plastificada completa, iremos nombrando las diferentes imágenes (en esto podéis echarle imaginación al formato si queréis hacerlo con varios niños a la vez).
Cada vez que nombremos una imagen, el niño deberá taparla con una ficha verde. Cuando se equivoque utilizaremos una ficha roja. Al finalizar podemos “contar los puntos” (por ejemplo, cómo os reitero, depende de la capacidad de cada niño) verdes y jugar a ir mejorando los resultados. Es una idea entre muchas de las actividades que se pueden llevar a cabo con un mismo tablero.

Si además de llevar a cabo las actividades anteriores, queremos alargar la complejidad o extensión del ejercicio, podemos pedir al niño/a que se toque la parte del cuerpo que acaba de identificar. También puede identificarlo en un muñeco, dibujo o en otra persona, en función del nivel de generalización que sea capaz de lograr en cada momento.
Es importante ofrecer una consigna o pauta verbal que el niño pueda recordar fácilmente y asociarlo a la acción que le estamos pidiendo. Por ejemplo podemos decirle “ahora tócate tu ….” “señala ….en el dibujo” “toca ….en el muñeco” “Dónde está tu ….? (Son algunas opciones que os propongo como idea.
De este modo también estaremos facilitando la generalización de aprendizajes relacionados con las partes del cuerpo en niños con TEA.
Es importante resaltar que en el caso de niños verbales, podemos trabajar la imitación y expresión de las diferentes palabras tras cada demanda. De este modo reforzaremos la estimulación y desarrollo verbal.
