Gonzalo desde que nació es el rey de la casa. El logo de ILUGON está dividido en dos, GON con su gran corona. Esa parte del nombre la teníamos clara.

Todo tiene un comienzo y ahora ofrecéis un amplio abanico de posibilidades de trabajo para aprender vocabulario pero…¿Cómo definistéis los contenidos iniciales?
Cuando empezamos a trabajar con la terapeuta de Gonzalo, una de los recursos que utilizaba era la tablet. Para finalizar las sesiones, Gonzalo jugaba unos minutos a juegos infantiles. Desde el inicio la tablet fue muy motivante para él. Al verla en su agenda la señalaba y tenía interés por ella. Ahí comenzó a surgir la idea de ILUGON apps
Con la tablet practicamos la elección de juegos, además de aprender conceptos como formas, colores, tamaños. Gonzalo si quiere jugar tiene que pedir la tablet y somos nosotros los que decidimos si se la damos o no.

Las apps las utilizamos como un recurso más para ayudar a Gonzalo. A nosotros nos ayuda a evaluar aprendizajes en diferentes ámbitos. Las apps al ser un juego entre la tablet y el niño, no tienen esa componente social, que en ciertos ámbitos puede limitar a Gonzalo.
Además, Gonzalo sabe que a las personas se las puede influir para conseguir que juguemos a su manera, sin embargo, la tablet no le da esa posibilidad. Es la app la que marca las reglas del juego, y Gonzalo debe seguirlas.
Si hablamos de emprender y poner en marcha un proyecto de desarrollo tecnológico que no es vuestro trabajo habitual ¿Cómo llevasteis a cabo la planificación familiar? ¿Cuáles fueron las dificultades al inicio? Creo que este aspecto sobre todo, puede ser muy motivador e interesante para otras familias.
Cuando diagnosticaron a Gonzalo, descubrimos lo poco que sabíamos de autismo. Nos tocó aprender mucho, y también tuvimos que hacer difusión de las dificultades de Gonzalo a nuestro entorno más cercano para que comprendiesen a mi pequeño. En poco tiempo aprendió el vocabulario del juego y prefirió esa app frente a otras.
Cuando probaron el juego a otros niños, también les gustó mucho, y nos planteamos publicar la apps de ILUGON en los markets para poder compartirla. Esto nos llevó más tiempo del que inicialmente pensamos, los contenidos estaban definidos, pero teníamos que trabajar las voces, los efectos, la música, otros idiomas… La primera app tardó más de un año en ver la luz, pero finalmente lo conseguimos. Aprendimos mucho para la siguiente. Nuestra segunda app fue algo más fácil y la tercera está ya casi maquetada.
